Amalfi, Capri & Sorrento

These three glamorous destinations are situated on the South West coast of Italy, south of Rome and Naples. Sorrento is an ideal base for a visit to Capri, Amalfi and Pompeii. Along the route you will see Positano, a delightful town built into the cliff edge along the coast. A frequent bus service runs along the coast road from Sorrento to Amalfi. Beautiful views of coast and sea can be found on Capri together with an interesting trip to the ancient ruins of the home of Caesar Augusta. A short boat ride will take you from Sorrento harbour to the Island of Capri. A wealth of coffee shops and stylish shopping awaits!

Pompeii

The ancient city of Pompeii is well worth a visit. Look out for the chariot tracks worn into the streets.
